I'm rather new to all this internet stuff...blogs and all.  I find myself longing for feedback, for some sort of basis to start a dialog in this blog.  Up until now that was not possible.  I've added a comment form that you are free to use to make comments and/or ask questions.  If there is not enough space then I can enlarge the space and will do so if it appears necessary.   Without feedback I don't even know if anyone is even reading my blogs!  I suppose that is not critical but I have to admit, without feedback it feels as though I am merely a voice crying in the wilderness... Thanks for your input!  Lydia

Patience

I read somewhere that without patience we can never understand the meaning of Divine Timing.  Divine Timing has its hand in the final creation and publishing of this web site, which is understandably a work in progress.

I am a procrastinator!  I do seem to be blessed with a very creative mind and it often fills my days and nights with thoughts and ideas of "things to do" like build this web site then never propels me into action.  Somehow I overcame that problem to actually get this project off the ground with a little help of Divine Timing but what I really wanted to write about today is PATIENCE.

Be patience with yourself. If weight loss is your goal, be patient and know that a consistient slow and steady loss is the goal not a rush to victory! Even a few ounces of loss per week will gradually turn into pounds and inches!  A few ounces of weight loss is an easy goal to reach and maintain without feeling deprived.

I've been steadily losing weight even though that is not my goal it is more of a fringe benefit, one I am thrilled with, I should add. Eating the foods that I eat, which are WONDERFULLY delicious, filling, attractive and easy to prepare I just am gradually slimming down without ever feeling deprived.  I LOVE to eat and I eat a lot.  The volume of food we eat is not as important as the types of foods we eat.
