Some Common Sources of EnzymesMetabolic enzymes are those enzymes that are produced by the body and are necessary for
all stages of the digestive process. As we age and also high stress reduce our ability to manufacture metabolic enzymes. Food enzymes are in all raw foods which, incidentally,is why ray foods are so nourishing.
Uncooked fruits and vegetables contain their own enzymes, just enough to be digested. Nature is very efficient in this regard.
These foods which are so wholesome when raw, completely lose their ability to aid digestion when subjected to the high heat
of cooking. A ripening banana is a good example of how raw food enzymes work. The banana transforms itself from
a hard, starchy plant into a very soft, brown and sweet one through an enzymatic process! The
3rd. source is through supplementation. Enzymes cannot be synthesized. They must be grown in
plant form and extracted in a laboratory process. They are then usually put into capsule form and are often taken before,
during or following a meal to assist in the digestion of that particular meal. Animal
Enzymes provide us with some very important and often vital enzymes. They usually come from slaughterhouse animals
and are therefore unsuitable for those that live the vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. We need enzymes
anytime we eat food that has been heated above 118 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind... enzymes
must be present before any chemical reaction can take place in our bodies.

Figured out a way! DUH!!!Hi, it finally occurred to me that whenever someone makes a comment about my blog I see it and no one else
does I can just copy and paste it into my blog. So here goes: Karen wrote: Hey Lydia! Finally got a moment to come over and check out your web site and found your blog! I have
read a lot of it and it is really very informative. I had been wanting to create a website and a blog of my own and
had never been to a blog before. It helps if you know what it is before you do it, I guess. Anyway, Thank you
so much for having a blog! LOL Hope you update it more often, however, I know just how busy you can get.
Don't do any more experiments like this one...it seems to be scarey to mess with stuff like that. At least it is
for me to think of you doing this kind of experiment! I enjoyed the article about the enzymes and about the green eyes
turning blue! My grandmother had dark brown eyes and when she was 80 years old, they were sky blue. I, too, believe
the iridology theory about cleaning up the system and your eyes will change color. You have a good day! I will
bring a link over to you or you can link to me on hubpages if you want. L! ove ya! Karen LaVelle
Hi Karen, I apologize for taking so long to reply. I had been babysitting my small
grandson for a few days which takes my entire devotion! He is two years old today and is such a joyful delightful person! Thanks for taking the time to write in my blog. I admit, I have been lax in writing here but vow to mend my
ways! It is so easy to let life get in the way of things that are actually important to us and I am making a new commitment
to myself to devote more time to my website and blog. One of the reasons that delayed me from
additional updates is that I misplaced some my research on enzymes which totally took the wind out of my sails!
I am delighted to say that I recently found it and will resume this thread as I know and believe that enzymes are vital to
good health! Did you see that I have put a widget to your hub pages in my shopping village under
fine artist? There are so many talented and wonderful people in my life and many are allowing me to put links to some
of their creativity that I think I shall soon create a separate page just for the gifted and talented and will move their
links there from my shopping village but in the meantime I hope my many visitors will take advantage of your widget and read
some of your interesting articles. I will have to soon also write about the "experiment"
as you have named it as to the whys and hows. I think that will be very interesting for some. In the meantime,
I am anxious to get back to writing about enzymes and follow that thread and train of though before moving on to another. Again, thank you so much for writing in my blog. I hope it will inspire others to make comments as well. Love, Lydia
